A small portrait of my character, Maria L'Anett. Still practicing my style, but it's getting closer to how I want it!
She doesn't quite look like Maria...Maria has more of a smirk. I can't distinguish a playful smirk from an evil smile in my drawingsXD

I'm going to attempt to do the 365 days of art challenge for this year. One of the artists I watch did it and she said she really improved from it (Which is really no surprise...), so I want to take a more serious turn in my art and I thought this would be a good thing to do! I decided to do it today, January 2, so I'm a little behind, but...
I hope to get a figure drawing class this semester as well, but so far, I'm on the waitlist...OTL

I haven't drawn in a while, so her face looks a bit off to me, but...can't quite figure out what it is...

I really want to draw Aiden, but I'm so terrible with men!;w; He keeps either looking like a girl or terribly disfigured:'D

I haven't worked on my story in a while...I'm going to try and get back to work with it after doodling her!♥

This is so beautiful! Even though Maria doesn't quite look like herself in this picture (but that's probably because you haven't drawn her recently), but she's still gorgeous!
I love her eyes and her lips~ So pretty~<3
Very nice doodle! I don't think I'd be able to do a challenge like that, but it's really awesome that you're going to try! I wish you luck and hope it's helpful to you!
I'd help you with why Maria's face looks a little off, but I'm no good with anatomy, so I don't know what could be bothering you about it ^^; I fail XP

Yeah, transitioning into another style is quite tough>w<
I've also drawn Maria really out of character in the past, so I'm not sure if people will recognize her in some cases...XD
I already failed at the challengeOTL Stupid sleeping problem... :(
It's something like...the angle of the head doesn't match the angle of the facial features (Te facial features should be turned more...if that makes sense). It's not really easy to fix, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to it...:'D I really need to work from the ground up again. I'm REALLY out of practice;w;

Haha, that happens, but it's okay. Characters can also go through personality changes that others aren't expecting.
